I will be riding with Kelly Benefits Professional Cycling Team this season. I am excited to be part of such a good program. I just got back from our
first team camp in Colorado. My new teammates are great!
It is going to be an awesome team with a ton of depth. We have a few top sprinters as well as a strong stage race team. Not to mention that out director is a former National Champion.
We have a two week training camp planned for February out in Texas.
Our first team races will be in South America and then we plan to have a short stint in Europe before we start racing in the States.
I will update with my personal race schedule soon.

This has been a crazy off-season so far. So much for taking some down time and relaxing. It has been the most stressful off-season I
have ever had. With the economy a mess it has made the team market a mess.
A few teams including Jittery Joe's have gone away from the pro ranks and other s have had to cut back their budget.
It's unbelievable some of the big name riders who don't have contracts for next season. I am one of the lucky ones who found a
team for next year. I was confident I would find a team but I wasn't sure at what level it would be.
Fortunately, I was able to take a step up with programs. I will be able to race in some of the biggest races here in the States as well as a fair
amount overseas. I am very excited for the opportunity to continue my own growth in the sport by racing abroad and gaining more experience.
I am not able to say what team it is until they make their roster announcement but I will update as soon as I can.

I'm in the midst of my off-season right now. I've been busy with lots of yard work and chores around the house that get neglected during the racing
season. I will be starting my gym routine and cross training in the beginning of October. I also went to Interbike this week to work on a contract for
next season. I am really excited about the prospect of a team change. Jittery Joe's has been a great program for me the last three years but it's time
to move on.
A positive change is just what I need to get back on track and reach the next level in my racing. I will let everyone know once I finalize a team.

I am currently in Big Bear, CA doing some altitude training for the
upcoming Tour of Utah. I have been here for a week already and have
one more week to go. I've been sick with bronchitis all week but I'm
finally feeling better after conceding to some antibiotics. I figure
even if I'm not training much I will still get the benefits of
acclimating. I am looking forward to Utah since it is a race I have
done very well at in the past.
After Tour of Utah I will be fine tuning my form for two weeks leading
up to USPRO road race. There will be a bit more pressure this year but
that's OK.
From USPRO I will be going to Univest Grand Prix in PA the next week.
Univest is a UCI race that I have always wanted to do but have never
had the opportunity. I'm definitely looking forward to it.
Please look for my Race Journals starting on August 13th from Tour of
Utah.
